The power used by the brake pads is usually a DC power supply, so the AC power used by the motor cannot be directly used, and the AC power must be converted into DC by a rectifier. The two wires are to connect the two AC input terminals of a rectified full bridge to any two incoming wire terminals of the motor and synchronously input 380 volts of AC with the motor, and the two DC output terminals are connected to the brake excitation coil.

When the motor is energized, the direct current of the coil generates suction to separate the two friction surfaces of the tail, and the motor rotates freely. Otherwise, the motor is braked by the spring restoring force. Depending on the power of the motor, the resistance of the coil is between tens and hundreds of ohms.

4. Check whether the sensitivity of the brake is appropriate. During the operation of the equipment, the brake should be able to respond quickly to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the equipment.

What should I do if the brake of the deceleration motor with brake cannot be opened?

For geared motors with brakes, under normal circumstances, the brake status should be released after the power is turned on, but if the motor starts to run after the power is turned on but the brake still cannot be opened, then the reasons may be as follows.

1. There is a problem with the brake system circuit.

The brake of the geared motor with brake cannot be opened. The first thing to consider is whether there is a problem with the brake system of the motor. If the brake cannot be turned on, it is very likely that there is a problem with the brake system, which is not linked with the main control circuit of the motor. The solution is to carefully check the connection to ensure that the brake system and the main control circuit of the motor are normally linked.

2. The brake relay is damaged.

The brake cannot be opened In addition to the possible problems of the brake system, the damage of the brake relay may also cause the motor brake to fail to open normally.
